Tenrikyo Mission Headquarters in America organized Seminar 2002 at five sites between November 23 and 30, which drew a total of 256 participants. This is the second seminar following the first one held in 2000. At each site, the seminar was conducted in both English and Japanese. In addition to the two languages, it was done in Korean at the mission headquarters. Each seminar included two lectures--one in the morning and the other in the afternoon--as well as three-hour discussion, in which participants exchanged their thoughts and opinions about their everyday life based on the teachings. One participant remarked, "By listening to other people's talks, I was able to remember the day of origin of my faith, which I had almost forgotten." Another participant said, "The exchanges of thoughts about faith with others enabled me to reflect upon my own faith." |
