On March 24, Tenrikyo Language Institute (TLI) served as a venue for the Oyasama 120th Anniversary District Lectures. These lectures, sponsored by Church Headquarters, are scheduled to be offered between March and the end of June at some 2,000 sites including many overseas.

Out of 340 people who gathered for the event at TLI, 109 attended through interpretation provided in English, Mandarin, Taiwanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai, Indonesian, French, and German. The lectures were delivered by Honbu-in Hiroaki Yamazawa, who serves as vice head of the Overseas Department. Two videos, which were also presented as part of the program, were dubbed or subtitled in several languages to accommodate the needs of the audience.
