Sacred rice, which has been offered to the everliving Oyasama and packaged in paper, is bestowed as a means of salvation from illness.

Concerning the effectiveness of the sacred rice, a Divine Direction teaches us:

It is not the rice itself but the truth of the mind that is effective.

The substance itself is not what is effective. What allows the blessings to be manifested, rather, is our simple openness in accepting it as sacred rice bestowed from the Jiba and the commitment we make, when consuming it, to bringing ourselves into accord with God's intention.

The sacred rice is granted upon request through directly supervised churches.
