On April 26, the Young Men's Association held its 16th Overseas Mission Seminar at Moya 38 in the city of Tenri. The seminar, intended to convey the significance of the overseas mission and heighten the members' awareness of it, came one day after the association began accepting applications from members wishing to join its 8th Human Resources Overseas Dispatch Program. The association used this seminar to encourage members to seize the opportunity. The seminar began with a video presentation designed to introduce the participants to the overseas dispatch program, followed by a panel discussion featuring some of the members who had taken part in a previous program. Latin America Section Chief Naotaro Shimizu of the Overseas Department then delivered an address urging the listeners to go overseas to share the teachings ever more widely. |
